The amount of money being pumped into this country's military budget for the sake of “national security” is obscene and without question would be better invested in vital programs for the people of the United States, such as universal free childcare, tuition-free public universities, dental/vision/hearing added to Medicare, 100% renewable energy in the U.S. by 2050, housing for all guaranteed, 12 weeks national paid family/medical leave, just to name a few. As more inflated budgets get approved for the Pentagon, more and more people today are living paycheck to paycheck,
