Letter for April 2004 - Tax Money for Military Spending
This month Americans will again pay income
taxes. This money will fund, in part, a federal budget that allocates
half its discretionary funds to the military. Ours is by far the
largest military budget of any country, with only a quarter of the
budget allocated to pay for human needs, such as education, health
care, and social services...
